Deadside question.

Was the Deadside mini ever finished? I was able to get the first two issues but never have seen 3 & 4. I know also that Acclaim was very well known for announcing things and never releasing them like the holes in the Quantum and Woody series.

Was any part of 4 ever finished? Is there a script or maybe some art laying around?

My understanding is that the art was finished by Ashley Woods, but never received by Acclaim. I think TWT could shed light on this?

As I recall, the art for #4 is in the hands of a board member here. I'm not sure about this but maybe someone else has more information.

Seems like I remember there being a thread about this one a year back or so...if noone has the scoop, then it's convention season - I'd say if you bump into Paul Jenkins - ask! Just don't mention UNITY 2000 to Jim Starlin.

Don't ask me how I know. Just....trust me.

That's the story I remember. It was done and even sent to Acclaim then Ashley's computer crashed and all the art was lost. It may have been issue 3 though since Ashley didn't do that one.

If I were to talk to him, I would ask him to apologise for how he handled Unity 2000, and ask that he would act at least as professionally as Acclaim did towards him. But wrapped in many layers of sugar.

I have Deadside 2 and 3. I'm missing 1.

Think I could find it in San Diego? Or is it conisdered too much of a waste for retailers to bring?
