Schism, anyone?
This is what I posted at the Defiant board before it got shut down. Just wondering if anyone that got the plots had anything to say.
Michael's part was one of my favorites. Getting his [quantum] heart ripped out and staying quantum. This would have been interesting to follow-up.
I kinda saw Nudge giving herself up as the story progressed. Shooter would have made this a really great scene.
Whenever I read about the huge battles on the growth/Org, I could imagine these huge Lapham pages. It would have been something.
I was a little confused on the ending, though. So the holes in the reality veil were closed? I don't have my Warriors #13 with me, so I can't remember who was laying there at the end. Chasm in Pandemonium? Was that the nuclear site? Loyal troops rule -- what did that mean? And were Sally and War Dancer left in Avalon? Or destroyed?
Overall, I thought it was a great read. A bit anti-climactic, but would have been great to see nonetheless.

so is defiant1's board dead for good, or what? I didn't visit it as often as I would have liked, but it was an awesome site

Defiant was great. Very unique ideas (or at least hid traditional concepts very well). I wish it could be finished one day.

Not to resurrect an old thread - but are there plot summaries or even scripts of Schism available?

Good question, I thought there was a pdf. I'll look around, anyone else remember?Darke wrote: Tue Aug 22, 2023 2:29 pm Not to resurrect an old thread - but are there plot summaries or even scripts of Schism available?
Nothing wrong with resurrecting old threads.
