NOOB here!! But a Valiant fan for years.

I would love to see BWS back. Not sure what he's doing these days, but I always loved his unique style, not to mention his storytelling.

Welcome to the bored!

I agree, BWS is my favorite VALIANT artist.

I also really like David Lapham's pencils. He had a great clean look, but without it getting dull.

Welcome to the board! :thumb:

I love Sean Chen and Bernard Chang, and I love BWS too, but I think most of my fave books were Chen. :::sigh::: Ahhhh, the memories! :)

BWS for sure. Bart Sears returning on XO would be awesome as well. I also have to go with Joe Quesada, even though I know it's a cold day in Hell when that happens. Sean Chen was fun and Norm Breyfogel back to Bloodshot would be great. Oh, and Bob Hall, he is the Shadowman extraordinaire.

Hmmmmm...

On X-O - Bart Sears covers, with Andy Smith or Jim Calafiore pencils and Layton inks. :thumb:

On Shadowman - Bob Hall

On Harbinger - David Lapham

On Archer & Armstrong - BWS!!!

On Bloodshot - Don Perlin

On Quantum and Woody - MD Bright

On Ninjak - Joe Quesada

On Rai - Sean Chen (with the "original" Rai - not the onytail guy...lol!)

That is all I can think of off the top of my head. :P

In the first new Valiant story we get Shooter, Hall and Joe R. I think that after that trio there is no telling who might show back up.

I'd love to see BWS, Lapham, JJ, Guichet, MAC, Perlin, Rags, Chen, Layton, Chang, Bright, Colon, Guice, Hitch, Mckone, D. Ross, Simpson, Velluto, Wood

I'm sure that there are lots of guys and gals I'm missing but it's a start.

As I said in an earlier thread, I would like the band brought back together. All Pre-Unity players.

I agree with all prior suggestions...but MAC deserves a strong shot. And of course Chen, Chang, Lapham..etc, etc, etc... :thumb:

This is kind of a hard question since the original or early VALIANT artists were not allowed to push the boundaries of their talents because of the storytelling style that was Shooter's plan. I would like to see Don Perlin do some stuff as I felt his Solar work was overshadowed by the BWS covers and inserts in 1-10. I would also like to see Bob Hall go back to Shadowman as that was a book personalized by him with his own style and stories, although that would probably entail a return of Jack Boniface which may not be possible.

I'd even be satisfied with:

Plots: Jim Shooter
Story: BWS
Art: BWS

Bring back A&A with this team and I'll be :D

I'm not sure if he's still around, but that Knob Row guy did a lot of good work for Valiant. I'd bring him back if he was interested.
