Since I couldn't find it solicited for July (or August) it's doubtful it'll be in comic shops then. I didn't see anything that indicated it would be released elsewhere. I hope it just got moved back or something.Second_Death wrote:Thanks for posting the info wrunow. Since Jim is involved I will have to try it.
Does anyone know for certain this releases in July?

“But this I just got really involved in. [Seven] may be one of the best things I’ve ever written, because it’s based on a philosophy that is rich and deep. I had to do a tremendous amount of research to prepare. I wrote forty thousand words on the characters for their background, huge dossiers, and a long detailed description on the first story arc.”stephenpakula wrote:http://forum.newsarama.com/showthread.php?t=115854
This really sounds like a Shooter era Valiant/Broadway Comics caliber story. All the old trappings are there: a concept developed by Shooter with the first plotline being written (or co-written) by him set in the real world starring heroes with powers based in quantum physics. Just like the good old days. I'm really looking for forward to this whenever it comes out.

I agree, I'm mass stoked to see this one appear. I just hope it's distributed through standard comic book channels.Todd Luck wrote:This really sounds like a Shooter era Valiant/Broadway Comics caliber story. Re: New Shooter comic - SEVEN info
Does anyone own this book?
I owned it at one point - Denise Wohl and I went out one night to the Kabbalah Center in NYC where they actually sold the first issue. She also intro’d me to Lucy Liu which was cool.
Anyway - I had the first issue of Seven and, as we all know, the rest of the series never saw the light of day.
Almost all my single issues were “lost” in my move including Seven #1. In thinking about it I came online to see if I could find it cheap. And I can’t find it. Like at all. I’ll keep digging, but thought to ask if anyone else out there owns the book.

Very ironic you are questioning this…I’m going to Janet’s for her birthday next weekend… we are going to pull out the ones that weren’t sold and offer them …

It doesn't mean what Alanis Morrissette thinks it means either, to be fair.

I think I’d be interested in buying one as well if you do offer them. I’m sure in the grand scheme of things they aren’t really worth much as it’s a forgotten comic, but nostalgia is calling.
I really wish they were able to print the entire series. Could you ask JJ if anything else exists from the comic? Is there second issue art out there that never saw print?

Totally. LOL.
It’s what happens when I get going on the Internet about obscure comic books.
