I have heard of deifying ions.
By the way - Alanis Morrisette really needs a dictionary. Black flies in pink chardonnay is not irony. Meeting the man of your dreams and then his beautiful wife, is not ironic. However, meeting the girl of your dreams and then her beautiful wife, THAT is irony. She should give me a call...

Re: "Remastered"?
It can pretty much mean the same as when Lucas released remastered versions of Star Wars.Captain Infinity wrote:What the heck does "remastered" mean, in terms of comics?

It means that the art, color, lettering, and other facets of the comic have been retouched using modern technology to give the illusion that it was produced today.

Re: "Remastered"?
The idea of 'illusion' when you put it in context with 'produced today' suggests deception, and I don't think VEI are trying to deceive anyone. It might be better to say a 'more modern appearance' or words to that effect.ManofTheAtom wrote:It can pretty much mean the same as when Lucas released remastered versions of Star Wars.Captain Infinity wrote:What the heck does "remastered" mean, in terms of comics?

As long as they don't make it all backwards by adding new scenes that totally suck, I'll be cool with it.ManofTheAtom wrote:It can pretty much mean the same as when Lucas released remastered versions of Star Wars.Captain Infinity wrote:What the heck does "remastered" mean, in terms of comics?

The two aren't mutually exclusive, at least if capes are involved.whovianone wrote:I think so.jedimarley wrote:But was she hot?X-O HoboJoe wrote:Faith wasn't fat?Dr. Solar wrote:As long as they don't make it all backwards by adding new scenes that totally suck, I'll be cool with it.ManofTheAtom wrote:It can pretty much mean the same as when Lucas released remastered versions of Star Wars.Captain Infinity wrote:What the heck does "remastered" mean, in terms of comics?

I doubt if Amazon can beat this price.andrew wrote:I'd like to see the new story released as a stand-alone or later on as part of something else. I'd probably only buy this if it was available at a reduced price on Amazon, but I'm glad this is coming out and Valiant is coming back.

Probably depends on if your're getting something else with it for free shipping on Amazon (most $25 orders get free shipping that I've done on there) .Daniel Jackson wrote:I doubt if Amazon can beat this price.andrew wrote:I'd like to see the new story released as a stand-alone or later on as part of something else. With shipping the HC is $19.67 from that site (so you're really only saving 5 bucks and change from buying it full price at your LCS).

PS - loved your Savage Dragon work (but stopped picking the book up in the late 50's as I drifted out of comics for a little while) which is where I was first really aware of your work. Did you do Mr Monster with Michel T Gilbert?
