Don't be suprised if Bob Hall inks this himself... :thumb:

Like he did with Armed & Dangerous...

Yeah I'm quoting myself because Bob Hall isn't inking his pencils for the new story for those who wanted to know....

-Brian
who do you think...Layton?
No it's Not Layton....I'm not sure i can really say who is inking it yet....It's NOT Tom Ryder

I can't really see a reason to keep the inker on this a mystery...

We already know who's penciling it...

The inker on this is Joe Rubinstein...his last work on a Valiant book Unity 2000

I wonder if this is really an all-new story? Do we know if this just isn't some unpublished story by Jim Shotter that they unearthed? Still will be cool to see it....

Is it doubtful that we will see Magnu and Solar come back or do they have the rights to those too?

I'm thinking releasing 2 or 3 HC's and then start publishing comics would be the best way to not *SQUEE* off new fans or old fans. Then as their success builds release the remaining HC's and New Series. Of course, you know their will be new series and characters taking things in a new direction.

If they said new story, I can't imagine it being a recycled one. As far as Magnus and Solar goes I guess we'll just have to wait and see if they've managed to pull that off.

Personally, I think an "unpublished" story could be considered a "new" story, whether that's what VEI means in the solicit, I have no idea. Although if it were a previously unpublished story, that would mean whatever new character is in this story wasn't worth introducing in a different story back in the day.

Most likely scenario is it's an old idea finally put to paper.

I don't think they would have used the word "all-new" in the solicitation if that was the case. It would be just as easy to say unpublished Harada origin story by Jim Shooter.

Ah well "all-new" is a different story. My bad. I'm with you.

I guess it's understandable since you live in 4001, but you won't be disappointed.

You are in for a treat.

For the longest time I just had the trade paper back (0-4), when I finally got 5, 6, and 7 and read them the story was so much better, and the first four issues were good to begin with.

At least you tried. I'll be visiting my lcs later this week to do the same thing but since the owner already owns a Valiant stash in his personal collection, I bet he has plans to order several.
