Does anyone care about buying Valiant cards?
I saw a post in the general discussion forum about the Chaos Effect insert cards and how if you got all 14 and sent them in you got the 6 card chromium set. This reminded me that I had done this, it was almost 10 years ago so that is why I forgot about it. Anyways, is there anywhere that one could get a gauge of the value/non-value of these cards and Valiant chase cards in general? Thanks.
It's not a lie, if you believe it.

Ach, sorry I didn't read this post first. I just made a similar reply in the other forum, replete with emoticons.FutureShock wrote:I saw a post in the general discussion forum about the Chaos Effect insert cards and how if you got all 14 and sent them in you got the 6 card chromium set. I just won a set of the 6-card set for $5, $3.50 shipping.

I've been working on a Valiant card "price guide".
I'll be sure to post when it's done!

99% of the valiant cards are worth....*SQUEE*!
If anyone needs some valiant cards I will send a bunch to you if you pay the shipping. I have some unity, deathmate, and valiant era 1 cards...all regular cards that need a home...I know that there is not a complete set of deathmate and unity...there might be one of the valiant era...Any takers? It is probably 150 unity cards, 200 deathmate cards(which is really only missing a hand ful of cards to be a complete set...then I will fill up the rest of a box with valiant era 1 cards...all you pay is shipping....honestly...that is what these cards are worth...Hell you can buy boxes of the things for $2.00 plus shipping...oh shipping is going to be more than the cards are worth unless you pull a bunch of the premium cards...

Yeah I agree commons are just that. The last time I moved the
neighbor kids got about 2500 deathmate cards in a box along
with some other crap I didn't want.
But have you seen what VEII OS cards can go for? Esp. when
someone just needs one or two more to finish a set?
What about some of the uncut sheets etc.?
I can't even afford them when they do show up.

I agree that the Unity and Deathmate regular cards were not that spectacular, but the VEI and II cards were great. I mean how could you go wrong with miniature versions of your favorite Comic book covers? I think the main problem was gross over run of the cards. The fact that you can still find a ton of unopened VEI boxes for five bucks or less proves that. As far as the VEII cards go Dan is right, they are far from worthless, I have lost several auctions by underestimating their value.

I've been buying sealed VE II boxes when they appear, which is very seldom. I just got a set of all the OS cards from that set, and was thrilled to pay $100 for it.
