Harbinger HC Promotional Ideas

Post by ManofTheAtom »

How about someone does some T-Shirts board members can wear at conventions that have the cover to the HC and the team's battle cry?

I forget what it was... something about a bud.

How did that one go?

Until I think of something really clever, I am using simple word of mouth to get the news spread. So far, 2 of the 3 stores in town seem very receptive. The "BIG" store seems to feel that it will be a one-shot nostalgia trip. But, at the same time, the guy did say "if they make a comeback, I don't know how much of a demand there will actually be". I find this whole attitude part of the problem. When a retailer won't order copies so they can be available, of course it won't sell. I know there has to be a demand for it, but if nobody knows about it, how can a demand become a demand?

Would we have to get Dino's permission to get shirts made?

I would definitely buy one.

It would be nice if any promo items like t-shirts are sized for big&tall guys like myself. Tall sizes would be great if possible.

:hm: If the marketing budget can't allow for it, perhaps the designs could be made available for purchase so that big guys could have them printed on their own.

I don't have to climb up a magic bean stock to get to your house, do I?

There will be a NEW Valiant shirt being made for SDCC this year...for the Valiant panel.

Similer to 2005 but with original art being done for it..

Must you be on the panel to get this tee? If it is available to general public I will not be able to attend the SDCC, would I be able to still purchase a tee?

I don't think that will be a problem

I think T-Shirts to help promote the book are a great idea. If someone is heading this up pm/email me and we'll see about getting you some art from the HC :thumb:

I'm planning to have 192 T-shirts made, all different...
So, go ahead and email the 192 pages of the HC to me,
and I'll let you know how the T-shirt project is going.

What is evil? Some say it is the exact opposite of good. So what is good? Some say pickles are good. If that's true, I'll take evil, because evil is the exact opposite of pickles. Yuck.
