VALIANT began with Magnus, Solar, Harbinger, X-O Manowar, and Rai.

Since VE owns the last three outright, it makes sense that they'd begin with those.

There were eight series that took part in Unity. Those five and Archer & Armstrong, Eternal Warrior, and Shadowman. Of those three, two began with Unity.

It makes sense for VE to collect all of the pre Unity issues in one HC, then collect all of Unity in one HC, and then start the VALIANT universe again after Unity (you know that's what they're gonna do...)

So that's going to be four Pre Unity HCs (Harbinger, X-O Manowar, Rai, and Shadowman) and one Unity HC before we see any new material.

If we're lucky it'll be six Pre Unity HCs (Harbinger, X-O Manowar, Rai, Shadowman, Solar, and Magnus) and one Unity HC before we see any new material.

I really do hope they reprint Solar and Magnus.

This is what I'd like to see

Harbinger HC: Origin of Harada

X-O Manowar HC: Shooter's Origin of the X-O Armor

Shadowman HC: Shooter's Origin of Master Darque

Rai HC: Shooter's Origin of the Blood of Heroes

And if we get them

Solar HC: Origin of Mothergod.

Magnus HC: Origin of Magnus (i.e. how 1-A found Magnus)

Welcome back. My preference would be a Shadowman HC as sson as possible (even though my favourite stuff doesn't kick in until Bob Hall takes over).

My preference would be to have a present day VALIANT U and a "post Unity" lost tales VALIANT U.

Either way, I'm looking forward to seeing Shooter's version of Darque... just don't do a giant spider, please.

I thought the Unity 2000 Darque was supposed to be one of the Overlords from Howard the Duck.
