Heh - here's the response:
danyalynn wrote:No.. The reason is that some of these are in near/mint to mint condition & this price is for the entire box. Thanks for asking anyway.
My reply? "Good luck with that."

Just another time waster, he hasn't got a clue to what they are worth and too lazy to look it up. He'll probably end up having a yard sale and selling them for a quarter a piece.

I always thought about sending a VH1 Darque Passages in to CGC, just to have something a little oddball.

They either won't grade it with "inserts" inside, or will take them out. I don't think you get them back without "special insctructions," either, although I'm sure one of the frequent submitters here will correct me if I'm wrong.

I sent a question to the seller asking what the grade was. VERY strange that he would purposefully hide the CGC label and not mention it.

Technically, based on what he says, it should be 9.4.

Well it's obvious he's using a CGC Dreamship auction listing (picture and description) to sell I think a regular copy. It seems so wrong it looks like a joke!

Oh, yeah. I didn't pick up that the seller wasn't dreamship_cgc at first. I think it is just some guy who has no idea about what he actually has.

It's just so comical that the guy copied and pasted without even reading the first sentence, LOL. Anyways, the auction was reported by well-known board member.

I messaged back and forth with the seller. He has the regular version. He said he would take down the auction and fix the price and description.

How tattered? VG? VG-

Either way .25 for a CEAR is a remarkable deal.

I can only think of one circumstance where I would not take a CEAR for a quarter.

If someone had cleaned biological waste of any description with it.

That being said, I have an admittedly limited imagination.

Dude, I can think of TONS of reasons for not buying a CEAR for a quarter.

It was in a wormhole to another dimension.

The transaction also involved a red guy with horns of talk of "my soul" and "eternity"

It was booby trapped with death rays.

Some guy was trying to sell it to me while I was on the Titanic as it was going down

It was sold to me by a cross-eyed guy who said he would sell it to me but we would have to be best friends for ever and ever.

and on and on and on...

Wormholes go both ways.

Others have traded their souls to me (Gmail invites) so I'd trade the Devil one of those.

Some people think MacGyver is a name. I like to think of it as a verb.

Titanic's already gone down.

The cross-eyed are easy to cheat, swindle or otherwise decieve. There's a CEAR in it for me, man!

My soul? Take Phil's. I keep threatening to donate it to the Mormon church anyways.

His sister might appreciate this arrangement a little better. Phil is almost 19 and would soon have to leave for a mission.
