This is the new series by Matt Fraction, right?

I picked up the first 2 issues. They were ok, but not good enough to get me to pick up any more.

I'm reading both Punisher titles and IMHO, the Punisher is much better than the Punisher War Journal. You can try out the War Journal and see how you like it but I would recommend the Punisher over Punisher War Journal.

yah, they're exclusive. PWJ takes place in the 616 Marvel U while the MAX series is on its own.

I'm reading MAX in trades, but I haven't picked up the most recent one yet... I like it ok. Currently reading PWJ monthly... really liked issues 4 and 5, but I haven't gotten to 6 yet. (1-3 are kind of hard to judge as they're Civil War tie-ins)

I got the first 4 issues of PWJ for sale on ebay right now. That's my opinion on the series.

Bleh.... :| Clearer?  Actually it wasn't that bad. It was just not my cup of tea. If you can get the books for less than cover you should go for it. :thumb:
