Great article!

And the comments below it are nice too. One poster said they'd like TPB of some other VALIANT titles. I think that's something that VALIANT Entertainment could make some nice fast cash on. Trades like Bloodshot, Ninjak, Eternal Warrior. And maybe more complete, bigger trades of the ones already done.

(that is of course when all legal issues are figured out:( )

Well I hope you all enjoyed reading it...I enjoyed writing...I really threw it together rather quickly over the weekend...but I at least thought it was a fun read. :)

Nice piece, Ryan. It's good to see Valiant talked about again on other boards.

Chris, Ryan, Dino and everyone else involved you have my upmost repect and a fair degree of awe.

Since coming to this board I've been continually impressed with the positive, creative, nature if the people present. 'Fans' that do things.

I salute you.

God, takes me back. I remember all the clones reading Image and going off on how great the squinchy-faced, pointy-toed Liefield abomnations were and the stories (or lack of). I'm over in the Valiant rack saying "LOOK, Barry Windsor freakin Smith". "Look, a coherent and FUN universe, with actual good plot and dialogue. *sigh* I knew, instinctively, it would not last.

I am glad to see the potential return of these properties. and your other poster is correct, the company could get off to a great start by just publishing trades of the original stuff.

Image isn't everything.

Yeah, there is a quiet sub-culture of guys here that don't hate Image, but they still poke fun at it.

Why would you want TPBs of those titles when the issues themselves cost pennies? If you want a TPB of Bloodshot or EW 1-10, I can take the issues, stack them up, run a big-*SQUEE* staple through them, and sell it for you for $5. :)

I know you are trying to be helpful! Not trying to be a dork.

I agree with you on the cost...... but I just have been reading so many TPBs lately.... I kinda like it better than the actual comics....... especially with my kids, the TPBs are just a bit more sturdy.

But I see you with the cost thing.

(also it's easier to carry / have out / one TPB instead of a bunch of comics)

There is just something about reading a story from beginning to end that makes a trade great. I'd love to get EW 1-10.

Well, I read that article and now I'm here... I really loved those old Valiants... it looks like the link to #22 is down (which I wouldn't be surprised at if a ton of people came flooding in here trying to download it). Has anyone mirrored it, by any chance?
