Batman #357, if you want his first appearance as Robin, that's a different matter, that would be Batman #366.

I actually use Overstreet, it's not a perfect source, but if you have a general idea where a character may have first appeared, it will likely be mentioned in one of the listings. In this case, I knew the second Robin came along around Batman #350 so I checked the listing until I found what issue it was, it also mentioned which was the first issue of Detective that Jason Todd appeared in. Also, if a character has his own title but didn't make his first appearance there, Overstreet will mention at the top of the listing other appearances of the character. Sorry, no secret online source, that would be a pretty neat thing to come up with.

1st appearance, Bats #357, as part of the 'Flying Todds', a virtual copy of Dick Grayson in all but name.

2nd Appearance, Tec #524, cameo. 3rd App, Tec #525.

1st App in costume, Bats #366 (featuring a KILLLLER Simonson Joker cover!)

1st App as Robin II Bats #368 (also a great cover), story crosses over in Tec #535.

Yeah, I dunno what Moench was thinking, making Robin II basically just Robin I with a different name. Crisis SORT OF dealt with this, and Robin's 'New Origin' and 'New 1st App' is Bats #408.

It's kinda lame and convoluted. ;)

Gum in the Valiant Universe first appeared on the bottom of Jack's shoe, in Shadowman #3, Page 13, panel 4.

OH, and some other guy... cant remember his name. Me, Zeph, Byrneout and I think skot played trivia all together in chat one night and this guy had ALL the answers... it was uncanny. You guys remember who he was ?
Damn you Knightt, it was me, How dare you forget my name. Perhaps the total annihilation that occurred that knightt has damaged your already weak memory

anyway I'm not really all that great, certainly not on Zephs level.
