It's that hoarding mentality isn't it? I reckon the time spent looking for Dead Universe books stops you reading any comic books!Knightt wrote:I have got all the issues... just have had NO time to read them.
$hit when WAS the last time I read a comic book ?

remember the early 90's (especially Image) when you could read comics in a couple of minutes. Looking back now, I can see the public service they were doing for their customers with *SQUEE*-poor/non-existant writing: we could read so many books more quickly then!

VEI - I look forward to you one day publishing MORE than 9-10 books per month

Except there is a little more story these days...Knightt wrote:geez, it is like early 90s Image books all over again... WITH the variant covers as well.AzbatX wrote:This has been a great series so far. Hopefully it won't get delayed like some of the other Wildstorm titles.

Wetworks is one of the few in the line I decided to avoid (along with Deathblow). Reason being? I found it boring the first tme round. So now are you saying I am missing out?Knightt wrote:I have to admit, that the writing in Wildstorm's Wetworks has kept me tuned in but man, it took a while for me to either get used to it OR for it to get interesting. I just hope that id does not get waaaaay outta whack as the death throes of Wetworks went into at the end of Vol 1.
Bloody typical if I have made the wrong decision on this one...

I remember another company in the 90's with a lot of variants as well that we all like.Knightt wrote:geez, it is like early 90s Image books all over again... Yay! I got Stormwatch 1 & 2, now all I need #3.
My Lcs hooked me up. I have enjoyed Deathblow quite a bit, but I am very biased for the character. I don't know why, but I have always liked the character and read nearly everything that he appears in. The different style Jim Lee used in the first series was what got me hooked.

That would be Lee's 'Miller' phase, yes?stone384 wrote:Yay! I got Stormwatch 1 & 2, now all I need #3.My Lcs hooked me up. Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.
