I does look interesting. I was real disappointed with the ending for Civil War. And the Planet Hulk storyline was dragged on way to long.

Planet Hulk has been the only time ever that I have been even remotely interested in the Hulk other than to see Iron Man take him on, or in the "Big Things" arc which I also thought was done well.

The Planet Hulk story is awesome, IMO.

Judging from the tie ins and Frontline, it would appear that World War Hulk is going to follow the Civil War model. I hope they do not use the multiple variants on each WWH issue.

It's my understanding that Planet Hulk was going to be on a much smaller scale than Civil War and all of its tie ins, no?

I haven't read Hulk in a long, long while... is the hulk savage again and change back and forth into Bruce Banner or is he still in Hulk form with Banner in full control (last issues were in the original series after 377).

The current Hulk can change whenever he wants plus he has at least normal intelligence. He also does not have to change back to Banner as in Planet Hulk you don't get to see Banner untill the last issue or so in Planet Hulk.

Doesn't that make it a whole lot less interesting? :hm:

All you really need to know is thet Hulk was betrayed by our Heroes (Reed,Iron Man, etc) and ejected into space. They asked him for help, he helped and they sucker punched him in the nuts . . .

So he is *SQUEE* and I hope he beats the *SQUEE* out of them.

I have been reading Planet Hulk in the regular title. It is very good. When the World War Hulk mini starts I get it and will drop the regular title and don't think I will get any of the tie ins (maybe the x-men tie in). I might pick up the regular title again once the mini is over. I shouldn't have any problem following the story doing it this way. It can be very streamlilned if you want. Unlike Civil War.

Hey, you know I'll be there...haven't missed a Hulk issue since 307. Planet Hulk hasn't been bad...but WW Hulk looks like it will be the big payoff :thumb: Anxiously looking forward to this.

What ? IM take on Hulk ? IM just got his *SQUEE* handed to him by Cap (yeah with some help from the Vision) but still the suit just can't stand up to big ol Green and Mean. The Hulk is probably the biggest and baddest can opener in the Marvel Universe. If there is anything that will 'unite' the heroes after Civil War it will be the Hulk returning to Earth and the hereos uniting with a 'hey guys, lets let bygones be bygones cause the Hulk is back and I am pretty sure he can kill and eat ALL of us seperately. So everybody find a moving buddy and lets come up with a plan... who has got Galactus' number ?'

Dude, you don't have to go as high up the food chain as Galactus to take down the Hulk.

But hey, if someone is coming after you, hit them with the biggest stick you can find.

Chris! I'm disapointed in you man! You must not have been reading that Iron Man v1 collection that you've been putting together. Not to mention now that we have Extremis Iron Man.....
IM always seems to get shafted anyway. In the Crossing (I can't believe I'm citing the Crossing), Stark had anti Vision measures ready, and now suddenly he doesn't. -eh-
IM put the Hulk down with one punch, and since then, his armor has been upgraded exponentially. It'd still be a fight, but by the numbers it should be one sided. The Hulk is the strongest there is, but IM is the apex of continuous improvement.

I loved Extremis . . . even bought the HC collection and I agree that he is never portrayed up to his actuall ability. But . . . hulk with a mad on has an unlimited potential to get stronger and stronger . . .

That along with his healing factor and ability to get really nasty . . . plus, Iron Man should feel guilty about what he did to Bruce . . . I favor the Hulk in a one on one . . .

IM should have been able to beat Cap though . . .but Cap is Marvels Batman . . . He can't lose . . . and I accept that also . . :)

If you went into deep space and then came back to earth, so much time on earth would have passed you could be hundreds of years into the future. Comics books are so unrealistic!
