It's a shame about these toys and the comics. There were some really quality stories being put out.

My cousins, who are only lightly into comics (which I try to change all the time  ) still talk about Prime.

What a waste to just let them die out . . .

Do you really think it's shill bidding? The guy who drove the price up is registered as being from Australia, and the seller is from NY.

Does that mean shill bidding or does that mean that the ebay system just pushed it up just over the old bidders high bid as it's supposed to?

I'm of the opinion that the winning bidder bid 20.01 in anticipation of someone coming in with a bid of $20.00. A lot of people just bid round amounts, so I often go a few cents over just so I can hopefully beat out the round dollar amount bidders.

It just seemed odd to bid bid bid bid and then stop after you get within a penny of the high bidder.

You're right, I thought that maybe it was a last second snipe attempt, but I see there was plenty of time left. Weird, I guess he didn't want to pay even 50 cents more, or whatever the next bid increment was. :?

I often bid in increments of .38, .78 and .83 for that very reason.

Or do something like $21.83
