last crossgen issues
has anyone been picking up the last issues of any of the crossgen titles?
are they totally gone now or what? i heard they were-but i heard valiant/acclaim was totally gone too-4 years before they were!
what's the scoop? anyone have the info? buy a few of these-hang on for 10 years and then, when greg starts a crossgen.com you can cash in!

I like the Ruse the best. Great stories plus Butch Guice artwork.

some of the covers for sojourn look fantastic.
i too enjoy ruse...it pulls of "the detective" character very well. i like all of what i've read-which isn't much.
the first was not so great-i can only handle bart sears for so long y'know-they should only commision him to do covers.
many of their marketing ideas remind me of valiant-like the tpbs for comic book readers-and trying to build a choesive universe that worked together. the stories don't remind me of valiant-far to "superhero-y" if you know what i mean.
did they do any incentive covers? golds? reds? wizard 1/2 golds that i need to pick up now while they're cheap?
i've purchased most of mine for a 1/4. sweeeeet. that part reminds me of valiant too!

I picked up a bunch of crossgen singles 6 months ago when I finished my bloodshot run...buck a piece or less...for like 20+ issues of assorted titles. picked up 5 of their tpb for two bucks a throw at the airport of all places on my way to florida last february...those aren't bad because they are multiple titles (I got forge) so you get lots of reads in them
Why waste time learning, when ignorance is instantaneous?
Crossgen never published any variant covers that was one of their big pitches was they weren't a speculator or collectors market publisher Though they did publish preview comics for the first issues of mystic, scion, sigil, meridian and the first that were the first few pages of the first issues sent to comic book stores for display so people could see what the books were about when they first started out.dave wrote:some of the covers for sojourn look fantastic.
