This thread is not mine....
Seriously....what is the deal with saying "not mine" when pointing out auctions or other stuff for sale?
Does it offend people if someone lists their stuff for sale or points out their auctions?
Is it a disclaimer of some sort....?
Clue me in, people.

I do it simply so people know it is not my auction. Perhaps some would bid more and some might bid less. But I think it is important as not everone know everone elses ebay id.

When people list their own auctions here I give the books and grading a little more credibility. If others do the same, I don't want them to buy thinking is it my book graded by me or that I am promoting the book at all.
I think of it as kind of a courtesy, as it stops anyone from having to ask “is that your auction”

Since I don't sell currently, I hadn't considered that others might THINK an unlabeled auction would be mine if I linked it here.
Thank you!
