Let me see. A guy calling himself "littlebullct" (who can type semi-coherently) says on his first post that Shooter will "retunr" to DC to do another relaunched Legion series (of course, DC just renamed the series earlier this year). He claims Giffen told him this at his LCS. The sources of this rumor just keep getting more credible

Seconded. I gave up at 19 (best issue of the run that I read oddly, but decision made), and I barely had the will to read any other comics as this series sapped the life and Legion and comic goodness out of me. I started LoSH with Levitz and Giffen, liked the 5 years later thing and loved the Abnett and Lanning incarnation. The deathly dull and slow Waid plotting killed the series for me, with characters who didn't hook me like their previous incarnations, and that cod youth against 'the system' - meh!?!.ManofTheAtom wrote:Hopefully it means that Waid's boring crappy reboot is ending.
VEI - I look forward to you one day publishing MORE than 9-10 books per month

I wont be picking it up... I will not buy something that I am not interested it. I think that it is GREAT that (I'll believe it when I see it) he is back in comics but I won't just add it to my pull list. No doubt it will be good but that is just not a title that interests me. I can only imagine the scrutiny that these issues will get. I hope that they are good.

I remember them rebooting Legion just after Zero Hour (beginning with zero month or whatever it was called). If they really did do another reboot this year (I have my doubts) I think that might be some kind of record for the most reboots in the shortest amount of time (3 in about 13 years).

Waid rebooted the characters about 2 years ago into the lamest incarnation of the concept ever done.Todd Luck wrote:Waid's reboot? When was this?leonmallett wrote:Seconded. It's insipid and uninspired.
One of the most idiotic aspects of it is that it's like a giant white boy club, with three or four token alien members and two or so token black members.
Like for example Princess Projecta, who went from being an alien snake in the DnA version to an average white albino girl.

I think this is the thing I have agreed most vehemently with you on any topic. Which is funny considering it is a VALIANT board!ManofTheAtom wrote:Waid rebooted the characters about 2 years ago into the lamest incarnation of the concept ever done.Todd Luck wrote:Waid's reboot? Hey I like to Lurk and besides you guys scare me. No really I love to read hate to type and have been around longer than 6 months try years following Valiant actually a regular member here knows me personally. I want say who because I want to protect his reputation but I will say he has a rotating picture of X-O as is pic
. But I did want to let you guys know I really do enjoy all your talk and love to read it. Some times it really helps with those long days at work. Most of you guys are very witty and can really make me laugh out loud at my keyboard and so if I do not write again ( and boy for someone that doesnt like to write isnt this getting long) know that alot of us lurkers are around and that part of the fun of the Valiant Universe now is you guys.
Thanks
