What did you guys think of it? I personally loved it! I am a HUGE Iron Fist fan, and I am very happy to see him back in his own ongoing series.

It has been in my 'to read' box for a week in my cupboard. All I can say so far is great cover and I liked the preview story in the Civil War special.

I hope I have the right guy? :?

I have a card of him somewhere from one of those old sets from years ago.

Ever since I read the description he sounded like a cool character. Plunging his fists into a dragon and getting super powers. A martial arts style character is good too.

Did they change the costume? It doesn't look like it would work in today's comics.

I mostly remember him from the old Power Man and Iron Fist comics.

Power Man was Luke Cage, who last I heard was one of the New Avengers.

I thought Iron Fist was dead, but then again, it's comics. Death is like a cold or something to them.

Danny Rand's been on the ascendant for a while now, he turned up pretty frequently in Bendis' Daredevil run and then took on the Daredevil 'mantle' in Civil War, the early part of Brubaker's DD run and the very recent White Tiger revamp.

The Brubaker and Matt Fraction Immortal Iron Fist was a great first issue, pretty as hell (a guy called David Aja providing most of the art), action packed and getting through the introductions and plot set-ups with some verve.

Let's hope the revamp sticks.

Iron Fist died in Powerman & Iron Fist #125

John B. brought him back in Namor during his run.....

I do like Fraction and Brubaker, but I'm reading (okay reading isn't the problem, buying is) too much as it is. But will probably check it out eventually. Has anyone read Rex Mantooth by Fraction? If not I would definitely recommend The Annotated Mantooth collection.

I like Iron Fist and anything Marvel by Brubaker has been outstanding. I read the Immortal IF #1 and I liked it. I do tend to like IF moreso than most B-list characters. However, I heard that Brubaker was only working on that first issue and no more. I'll probably pick up the next one and decide if I want to keep it up from there.

I finally got around to reading it a few days ago and will pick up the first few issues. I found it intriguing, particularly the art and the other Iron Fist being out there...

Matt Fraction's Casanova is, well, interesting enough to make me have some hope for his continued run on IIF.

Not that I imagine he'll do anything like Casanovawith Iron Fist, but it's worth a read.

Only managed to get a copy last week. Really enjoyed this as well. I only really knew Iron Fist from a handful of Power Man and Iron Fist so a lot seems new, even if it is isn't. I love the Iron Fists through history and the arrival of Iron Fist Randall, and that the power can't be shared. Cool. Very cool.

You said it, brother... I mean, Peter Parker is Spider-Man. Ben Grimm is the Thing. DareDevil is Matt Murdock.

Yeah, at least we'll have fond memories of how it used to be.

I think Murdock is back as DD to allow Iron Fist to roam his own pasture as it were. Erm, or something...
