I am so far behind in my comic reading (I still have 7 weeks of 52 sitting in my to read box - not to be confused with my VALIANT to read box by the way which is a full short box, and doesn't fit everything I have not yet read by VALIANT  ) that I have just read New Universal 1. Fantastic. I like that everything feels more tightly tied into the White Event than the previous iteration. Must read book as of immediately. for me anyway. Thanks to Jim Shooter for the initial work on the original line for the new series to be around.
VEI - I look forward to you one day publishing MORE than 9-10 books per month

How did you like Web-Man?

I still shudder every time I look in that envelope (which I just did...ugggh). Obviously not to be confused with Marvel's Web-man from the 70's I think.

It seems like quite a combination, a Jim Shooter concept for a new universe being done by Warren Ellis.
Shooter was way ahead of his time.

I would love to see a brand new line from Mr Shooter today, just as a reflection on his thinking of building such a comic-book universe, having built so many already.

I know. I wonder if we'll ever see him return to the universe-building business.
I guess the next best thing would be just to have him return to comics, period.
