x-o matic contacted me recently and let me know that I had forgotten to include him in the kudos section. This is VERY true and being self absorbed in my OWN crap, have indeed forgotten him.

Chris has been a huge supporter of CF in the past and remains to be this day. Not only that but he let me stay at his home on our way to SDCC and then let me drive with him to SDCC (but wouldnt let me drive his new car) and I even got to stay with him in SD with his friend Sirac, but know that I DID pay for my portion of the room. I slept on the floor the whole time but Chris did offer to share the king size bed... uh, THAT would never happen. You guys know me, I would rather sleep on broken glass than share a bed with a man. (Chris was trying to be kind and I saw him drooling over PLENTY of chicks at the SDCC so I KNOW that he is not a freakin' gay-bob.

I even scored some cool $hit while at his house and for EVERYTHING I want to tell Chris that I appreciate all of those things.

If I have forgotten anyone in regards to kudos, please feel free to PM, email or call me and jump my *SQUEE* over it.

Major freakin' kudos to Hobo on the Hanna-Barbera comics I won in his eBay auction. Not only does he use mylars and acid free boards on all his comics, but he always sends extremely cool freebies, including some first edition undergrounds! The Aquaman book is the coolest, too. I love Aquagirl, I always like my chicks a little fishy...

Count me in the next time you're ready to sell some more of these gems! :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

That is just hilarious...

I would scan it, but I don't think it would show well with the yellow ink..

Here's what it says:

"This is an ORIGINAL HOBO Peedigree Aquaman. Enjoy."

I took a whiff of the book to see if it smelled of "golden showers", but it just had that trademark old comic smell we all love. :thumb:

Besides, there was no way I was letting that book walk away to the scumbag dealer that tried to buy it right afterwards -- Didn't want to see it show up with a press-job in a slab.

student: "right in front of you, on top of your computer, is that that Fantastic Four?"

me: "what, where, the Fantastic what?"
