Hall Of Heroes ?

Anyone have a check list for this very small publisher? It is where Ethan Van Sciver, Trent Kaniuga, and Matt Martin all started.

I'll try to compile one tonight. It's a task that I've been meaning to do anyway. I think this would be a fun little subset to pull together.

here's a quickie put together by using Mile High Comics, then cross referencing with mycomicshop.com (I do not guarantee this to be 100% accurate):

Bog: Swamp Demon #1, 1 VARIANT, 2, 2 (alternate cover by Steve Bissette), 3, 4

Creed #1, 1 (Wizard Ace), 2

Cyberfrog #1, 2

Deadbolt #1, 2

Dragon's Bane #1, 1 (ashcan), 2, 3

Fuzzy Buzzard and Friends #1

Hall of Heroes #1, 2, 3

Hall of Heroes Halloween Horror Special #1

Hall of Heroes Presents #0 (Fuzz), 0 (Salamandro), 0 (Slingers), #0 (Commemorative Edition. Exclusive Comic Cavalcade cover limited to 1500 copies), 1, 1 VARIANT, 2, 3, 4, 5

Hall of Horrors #1

Sleepwalking #1, 1 (Ashcan), 1 (Blackmagic), 2, 3

Snowman #1, 1 (Con, 2nd print), 1 (signed, sketch), 1 (signed), 1 VARIANT, 2, 2 VARIANT, 3, 3 VARIANT, 3 (wraparound cover)

Vortex (Hall of Heroes) #1, 1 VARIANT, 2, 2 VARIANT, 3, 3 VARIANT, 4, 5, 6

Creed 1 (Wizard Ace)

This was done after Creed went to Lightning Comics.

Some of the early Hall of Heroes had very low print runs.
Vortex also had reprints but I think they were done by Entity.

I'd like to get a cheap copy of the HOH Creed issues, but apparently easier said than done on eBay.

Brother J, let me check I think that I may have an extra Creed #1 by HOH. Issue #2 is HTF compared to #1 (imo).
Vortex also had reprints but I think they were done by Lighting.
Vortex went to Entity after HOH. :thumb:

That would be cool, let me know. As many good books as I've found in bargain bins, I'm surprised I haven't come across this one yet. Thanks to x-o for bringing this up. :thumb:

The list above jibes with what I've found on comicBase except for the following:

Dead Bolt and Dragon's Bane, which CB only shows one issue of each.

CB lacks the second Hall of Heroes Presents series commemorative #0, but has a #5 listed with no pic.

CB also lack most of the Snowman variants.

CreeD has been tough for me and I was buying it back when it was relatively new! I still lack a handful, but couldn't say which ones. They're always on eBay (not the HoH, naturally) but rarely as cheap as I would want or expect.

I bought a short box full of those for $10 a while back. There were a ton of different variant covers, and some of them said they had print runs in the low 100s. I thought they were crap so I stuck 'em in the attic.
