Did I miss something? Is there something about this particular dio that's so special?
I own 2, but might sell one overseas at that price. :P

The winning bidder was actually from the US, the seller was the one that was overseas. You might actually do better than this seller did since you would be able to charge less for shipping. How many collect these Turok toys? If I was a VH2 collector, I'd probably feel a big need to have these. :!:

I wouldn't mind having them, but I'm sure not paying $40 a pop on them! I'd be hard pressed to pay half as much for each. But I would pay nicely for a chrome V2 X-O prototype figure. :) ---Steve G

It all depends on what your into and how deep your pockets are I guess. I imagine they did not have a huge run of these figures so now that Valiant is heating up again people are afraid they might miss the last chance to get them, so the wacky prices continue.

I got one from EBGames (I think it was still "Electronics Boutique")
in around 1999-2000... all of the "Turok toys" were 1/2 off...
made me wonder if they wound up overstocked at all their locations...

I bought mine at TARGET on clearance for less than $4.00. About 2 months ago, I bought another on EBAY for $11.00, which included shipping.
I am a V2 collector, and I like the diorama. I recently purchased a TUROK video game banner from the Art Director of the game. He did the box art to the first game, that the diorama was based off of.

I only wish I could find those little TUROK figures that included Uncle Carl, Tal'set, Joshua and Campaigner (?) or was it Primagen. I forget. They came wih dinosaurs that they rode on. Sweet.

I actually remember picking some of these up about 4 years ago on clearance, I think I have 4 or 5 left. With the price that this one's gonna fetch, I'll be putting one up soon. :D

All the Turok figures have sold for cheap in the past.
For awhile you could buy them by the case for next to nothing.
Makes me wish I would have stocked up on a few.
My diorama is opened and displayed! :)

Thanks Dino. And, as a plus, the winning bidder paid immediately :thumb: I had a feeling that one of the underbidders of the other auction would snatch it up. I didn't think it would go that fast though :o I personlly think this is a fluke, but you never know.... :hope:

Unless demand continues for this figure, I think I'll just sit on the rest of the one's I have left for the time being.
