Hey guys! I don't know if anyone else has brought this up, so forgive me if they have.
I get my comics a day early, and I picked up my copy of WIZARD # 156 and was checking out the CGC section. Low and behold, there are scores of VALIANTS priced in this issue:

Bloodshot # 0 platinum test error $2,050 CGC 9.8
Harbinger # 0 Pink - $280 CGC 9.8 $95 CGC 9.6
Magnus Robot Fighter # 0 $100.00 CGC 9.6

RAI # 1 $80.00 CGC 9.8

In looking at the WIZARD as a whole, it looks like HARBINGER and MAGNUS ROBOT FIGHTER are in the regular guide. Both series, for the most part, are listed in green, which means going up in value.
They even listed the MAGNUS ERROR # 57 ($8.00) and last issue # 64 ($8.00). HARBINGER 0-10 and 39-41 were all in green, with # 0 pink listed at $50.00 and # 1 listed $25.00. # 41 came in at $6.50.
Looks like someone's noticing VALIANT again....

I probably don't have to tell you guys that 'we' know a little moreEric Jackson wrote:always behind..Valiant_1 wrote:# 1 listed $25.00.

than Wizard does about the Valiant market.
What I mean is... 'we know' that Harbinger #1 has a coupon.
We think about the coupon. We wonder about the coupon.
If an auction doesn't mention the coupon... it's not necessarily
a Harbinger #1 with coupon.
... and I can't average those auctions into the price guide's average of sales.
But, anyone can just type "Harbinger 1" into Ebay and look at completed sales.
My guess is, no matter when you do this...
you will see some high prices and some low prices.
'We know' that the high prices probably mention the coupon,
mention the condition, and show the comic with a nice scan.
'We know' that the low prices probably don't mention coupon,
OR the condition is below NM, OR the low price is a BIN.
Without doing a lot of investigation...
it's easy to see how someone who's not in the 'we' category
would conclude that the market has a lower average than 'we' know.
But, it's nice to see they're sincerely trying...
Well, for two titles anyway.
