I never met Trent in NYC as I didn't go, but I did enjoy his presence here on the boards. More than once he had a zinger that made me laugh out loud.

God bless...

Can't think of something to write. So I looked of one of Trent's posts and bumped the best one I found. Request it be moved to Hall of Fame.

The first thought that entered my head was "WHY!" Why?

Second, I got to reading a lot of your posts. :thumb: all, well done.

Trent, be thou at peace.

His Family is so grateful for everything this community has and was doing for him.

I will have information about arrangements later this weekend..
This IS terrible news......... I was kinda hoping he was improving steadily as some the Johns post had said. News like this is bound to catch all of us off guard. most of us are in our thirties and "thirty somethings " shouldn't be leaving like this. I guess it reminds me to try and appreciate every minute I can.

The part of me that still loves comic books (you know the kid part....) will always have a secret fantasy of being one of these heros we all love so much. I hope maybe Trent is getting his wish as I type. After all,.. who better to be a hero and get his wish than a guy who spent half his time dealing with a rough life and an ailing body, and the other half making sure we all got to smile a little each day?........

Mr. Collins, I am proud to say I knew you in my life. If we get to meet again, I hope we can visit a little longer....... RIP
When I was five, I dragged my dad into "Mike's Comic Hut"... If only I'd known..

What we all need: FREE HUGS!

Hug 'em, love 'em, cry for 'em.

This is what I mean to post.

--edit--
Can we move this thread to "General Discussion" to show the world what he meant to us?

Wow. I never considered that, even with the knowledge that he was in a coma, that there wouldn't be a day that the Chicken Man would be back here among us.

We are lessened by his passing. My deepest condolences to his family.

I really don't know what to say. I'm saddened at this news. I was lucky enough to get to meet Trent and his wife in NY and they could not have been nicer more sincere people. I wish I would have gotten to know him better. He truly was one of the good guys.

Please count me in for anything that is being done to help his wife and family through this hard time.

My best wishes for his family. As many have expressed, you never really consider the worst case scenario, and I think we all expected Trent back.

I have never met Trent, and I don't think I even spoke with him outside of PM's, but he seemed like a geniunely nice guy, and a pleasant presence on the board. Anyone with the dedication to self-publish is very cool in my book. My deepest sympathies to his family.

The last I checked, there were still 6 unsold sets of Trent's Zoom Suit project available. If anyone else wanted in on the project, I think it would be a great gesture to Trent and his family.

I personally think John Taddeo should also give Trent an honerable mention in his next issue of ZS, for going above and beyond the call of duty.

The Chicken Man will always live on in the heart of this community.---Steve

Unfortunately I didn't know Trent but it is always hard to loose some one as friend, as wife and as part of a community. Trents Family will be in my prayers tonight.

I'll take one. But I don't know who or how to go about asking to buy one.

ART HAS BEEN SENT.

Post by marvel1 »

To everyone-
Well, i would have loved to have finished the piece sooner and have Trent view it but thats not the way things worked out.
But I have Fed-Exed the art to Judy and in turn she will place it with Trent.
I am so honored beyond words.
John- Please foward the tracking # to Judy- 857446008141.
I will track the package starting today.
It should be at her door step by 10:30 am Monday.
