Anyone know who drew these...(or what characters they are)?
The last one looks like it was done by Bernard Chang?

Very interesting... :hm:

The first one kinda looks like a Deathmate version of H.A.R.D. Corps, I have no clue about the second one and the third maybe a proposed version of Harbinger that never saw the light of day?

Obviously just guesses on my part...
Chris

P.S. I will ask Bob Layton to see if he remembers anything about them. :thumb:

In the bottom pic the kid on the left almost looks like a young Mike LeRoi.

Could they possibly be early designs of VH2 characters? The first one definitely looks like some kind of Hard Corps redesign, be it Deathmate or VH2. The second one looks like it might could have been a very early character design for a VH2 Ninjak. And the third looks like it could be an early redesign of Harbinger that eventually became Troublemakers. Just a wild guess, though.
I would agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

I just received a reply to my question from Bob Layton.

"Nope--I don't recall any of those. Sorry.
Bob"

yeah I was thinking the 1st looked Bernardish also. I'll ask him and see.
The 2nd pic looks like it could have been a villian for Bloodshot or Ninjak or something.

yes, these are all my drawings. the first is a sketch for BAD BABES WITH BUTTS TO DIE FOR (PUNX), the second is a proposed new NINJAK design, and the third, while it is my drawing, i do not recall what it was for. they were all most likely done towards the end of my run at valiant/acclaim and were all quick sketches -- not for final print. the babes shot was something fun as she was standing on a legless goon. not sure if the ninkak was for the vh2 or vh1.

Someone at Acclaim must have liked one the figures real well cause the guy with the round sunglasses and bald head sure likes the VH2 Shadowman.

Bernard,
Awesome! Thanks for the confirmation. Pretty cool to know what the deal was with these.
I like the Ninjak design. Oh and amputee violence is the coolest! The last one seems Harbingeresque.
The tall gal looks like Carmen Ruiz. Nice kneepads btw :hm: :)
Thanks again!

The last drawing HAS to be BC - look at the faces!

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.
