Well, quite a few people first heard this when Iron Maiden sampled a piece of that very conversation to open up one of their songs, but it is a reference to an old TV show called "The Prisoner." I'm sure Wiki will have something on it, but I have this link to help fill you in, Phil!

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

What do you call a gay Scotsman?
Phil McCrevice

Sounds really cool but it looks ancient. Is it still watchable? If not it would be prime for a remake. Sounds like it has same kind of mystery that LOST has going for it.

It is ancient, and badly dated, kinda like the original Star Trek. If you can get past the wardrobe and cheesy "control room" and it's really good stuff.

Rumor has it that is will be returning soon with a new series, kinda like Battlestar Galactica.

You hit the nail on the head. There were some serious head games in this show.

Chris Nolan thinks so too (Batman Begins). He's making a Prisoner movie for 2008!

That's one of the rumors, the other is that SkyOne (in th U.K.) is making a new series. I said before like BSG, but meant Doctor Who, it may even have the actor who played Doctor Who as the Prisoner.
