I got the feeling it's mostly just water retention.

I've always loved that image myself. It's especially good for someone who's not an artist

Is there a bigger scan of that anywhere? I don't think I've ever seen it before... unless it's actually in Mags 12 or something and I forgot...

and, speaking of... I really like the Dinos on the cover of #12

If you collect the VE 1 cards, then it's more recognizable. It's one of the unseen artwork cards, #U7.

It's was drawn by Jim Shooter.

It was published (sorta). They just superimposed X-O flying in the upper left corner and used it as a piece of promtional art for the first X-O/Toruk story in Previews. I always thought that was a bit wierd since not only does Toruk not wear that outfit in those issues, there were also no T-Rex's in the story at all!

Yea, but by using it in previews no one had to do any real drawing and they could go back to plotting the demise of Shooter.

The issue of Previews it was in was well after Shooter's demise at Valiant (we're talking soliciations for either X-O 14 or 15 here).

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

I don't think that was bashing, because I believe CC was correct - BWS did draw that to look stupid - kinda cheesy, like some bad family vacation photo!

Well I don't think he can really draw anything badly. I like his dinosaurs. But my favourite, are his pteradactyls! :D :thumb:
