I admit it, Chuck, I been staring at that one for a few days too.

And how many of those has ckb sold for a LOT less than that?

I think Rico got the last one for less than $100. I've probably sold 2-4 over the last few years all at or less than $100.X-O HoboJoe wrote:I admit it, Chuck, I been staring at that one for a few days too.

This seller has an advantage since he still has that one he is selling. Mine are all gone.

I don't expect the Magnus 1 9.8 that I have listed on eBay to last much longer. I think if I put up a scan it will be gone in a week.

CKB has the lowest/reasonable priced CGCs out there
Most of my CGC VALIANTS are from the CKB collection
(including a Solar #1 9.8)

guy seems kind of high on his stuff in general... I keep eyeing his Usagi Yojimbo #1 9.6 but I don't think it's worth $400...

That price is downright reasonable compared to this one...It's a PC pedigree and all but

I just watched one of these end on eBay for $58...Schmakt wrote:guy seems kind of high on his stuff in general... I keep eyeing his Usagi Yojimbo #1 9.6 but I don't think it's worth $400...
Yes, a CGC 9.8 Solar #1. $58. And I "forgot" about it and came in too late to bid. Same thing, same day, I saw where a Rai #3 CGC 9.4 sold for $38.
I was really NOT "on the ball" yesterday.......

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

Saying there are 74 9.8 #1 Solars out there, I think he's a tad overpriced. Also, someone has it for $100 at the same time. I think sometimes these people get out of hand. Maybe I should send the seller a letter. He states in his description how hard it is to get a 9.8. I should tell him that I'll ask the other 73 people how hard it was for them to get their 9.8.

It's actually pretty hard considering I have seven of them (and account for almost 10% of the Solar 9.8s out there.) (and sold some others that came back 9.8)Philflound wrote:Saying there are 74 9.8 #1 Solars out there, I think he's a tad overpriced. Also, someone has it for $100 at the same time.
