Cool X-O art for sale (not mine)

Post by k_c_collectibles »

Hey guys,

I found some cool X-O art for sale on ebay. It is damaged, but it is still a nice piece! I bid up to $25.00 for it (all I can bid with my small budget for original art), but I did not even meet the reserve.

I thought if I was unable to get it maybe someone else from the board would like to get it. :D

Yeah, really. Once our cat sneaked into the closet where I keep everything. It was a nervous minute before I got him out.

It's a great piece and I'm definitely considering putting in a bid, but it's gone up pretty quick. I hope it's just cause the one guy wanted to know what the reserve is.

What would you guys value it at?

Without the defect I would have easily put the value of it in the $400 - $500 range.

With the defect, which could be fixed, I would put it around $200 - $250. I would not be surprised to see it go higher. It is a fantastic piece!

It seems sort of strange that a cat would poke a hole through artwork like that without creasing it or anything. The cat must have powerful claws or something.
