The insane price speaks for itself...
Is that a member? How did that book end up in England?

Well, the thing that irritates me a little bit is I think Superverse made these books available to people other than people from this community. I guess it's their book and they can do what they want to with it, but I originally thought it was a special book that was just for us.

How many of these were made, 783??? And how many active board members do we have? And also (I wonder of Greg has this info) I wonder how many people joined this site after JT announced that it would be the only way to get one???

:hm:

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

The number was 750. I guess I can understand why Superverse had to sell some of these since I doubt highly there were 750 of us that wanted one. However, it was presented as being a Valiantfans.com special edition. Oh well, no sweat off my back.

It was still a special thing to do. I'd love to have one, just because it was such a special gesture. If this one had been cheaper it could have been my chance to get one. But this is too much profiteering for me to.

It didn't work out. Being abroad, buying one would be a good solution. Just not at this price (it would be worth it to me, but it's a bit of a principle).

Considering his BINs on similar items I'd say he missed the decimal point.

Anyone spot me winning this?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... %3AIT&rd=1

That Gameboy 4 is tough. It will be my first copy. I was going to pass due to price until I did a little research and saw that the GI Joe issue is in decent demand. I've had bad luck contacting sellers after the listings end and making offers lately, so I paid the seller's SHAMEFUL price and $7 shipping.

I CAN'T BELIEVE SOMEONE BOUGHT THAT!!!!

Three Grand for a modern Spidey book, it doesn't even appear to be some rare variant. That has to be a joke bid or something... :hm:

I guess he expects only people with time machines to bid.

From the same seller. He obviously follows the PT Barnum theory.
