Some advice of selling

Post by cjv »

With the high prices, I was thinking about selling some of my doubles that I have of pre-Unity on Ebay. I was going to also sell some VVSS and gold duplicates that I have, but I will probably keep this (since they aren't the expensive ones, but rather the ones that appear on Ebay often).

Here is what I am thinking about selling (all issues have coupons)

Harbinger 1-7
Magnus 0-14, (3 copies of 3, 8)
Rai 1 (2 copies), 2, 5
Shadowman 1-3 (two copies of 2)
Solar 1-11 (2 copies of 1, 5, 10, 11) - 10 is a first print
XO Manowar 1-6 (3 copies of 1, two copies of 2, 5, 6)

Now, I know that I would probably make the most by listing each issue individually, but that requires much more work for shipping things out. So

a) Shoud I list them as runs (a pre-Unity Solar run, XO run, etc). If so, should I include extra copies, or maybe make a "supplemental" batch of the duplcates?

b) Should I perhaps group all highly sought after issues together, and then everything else?

c) Should I sell it as a mega pre-Unity lot?

BTW, if someone on the board is interested in purchasing, let me know. Still not 100% sure I will sell them, but with the prices they are fetching, it is becoming difficult to keep my duplicates.

Small sets of good books are probobly the best. Harbinger 1-7 should go as one. Magnus 1-X, 0 seperately.. etc

If you throw doubles in there you are essentially giving those away, so it might be best you keep it to make another set in the future :)

As for the solar, i might be interested in a pre-unity solar run..

I would definitely sell the Magnus #0 by itself after seeing what it has been selling for recently.
