Wow. That was fast. I sent an keyword abuse report to eBay. I was a listing for Rai 0 -5 all CGC graded & signed by Bob Layton. In the title it listed them as 9.8. In the auction descriptions it had them at 9.4 and 9.6 books. And in the picture there one was an 8.5 and there were 2 9.2 books.
:o

What was the price as you last saw it??!!?

I like the comments.
"Small amount of wear on cover edges, one imperceptible crease upper right corner cover."
It's "imperceptible" alright. If you show the small pic on your puter and stand about 10 feet away from the monitor, you might not see it.
Every accomplishment starts with the decision to try.

And Yes. Hells Angels did sue Marvel over the name.
from a lawsuit website;
Lawsuits in the Comics Industry.
"Marvel Surrenders to Bikers : Ronald McDonald & Hell's
Angels Make for Strange Bedfellows" p. 32 in The Comics
Journal, no. 157 (Mar. 1993) -- (Newswatch). -- In the
settlement of the lawsuit, Marvel will cease using the
title Hell's Angel, and donate $35,000 to the Ronald
McDonald House. -- Call no.: PN6700.C62no.157

taken from Bragging rights thread (because this belongs here more):
Brother J wrote:I bet that dealer was ripping his hair out that the book only went for $20.50. Check out the guy's store for Valiants and laugh yourself silly at his bloated prices!

EDIT: weird, when I went back to look again, all of this seller's overpriced Valiants were gone! :?

It's a conspiracy, I tell you! :!:
Boy, I'm a dummy, I know what I did. Instead of clicking the seller's store items, I clicked the link that says "Similar items from all eBay sellers". That's where I found this book...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 6590321437

and for more amusement, check out the rest of his Valiants...

he's the same seller from this thread:

So, I guess we might say that he values VALIANT books so highly
that he's willing to hold onto them, rather than sell for actual market prices.

Why would someone do this when there is one in my store for $100? It's weird that people just throw stuff up without researching it just a tiny bit first.

Fishing, that's all... hoping someone falls for his flash and hype. That and lazyness, why should they be bothered with RESEARCH?
