Here's the wierd part, I copy & pasted my link above, & the link brought his auction up. I had to copy & paste my entire selection page to show you my auction. What the heck is going on here.....?

TLC post above has my original copy & paste, which both link back to his page.

What do you mean "practically"? Lets hope scammers aren't noticing the lucrative nature of some of these Valiant auctions.

Hopefully this guy is just too lazy to write his own description and not out to rip anyone off.

Then again, I'm not holding my breath.

(A) 'looks like a 9.8' is an idiot.

(B) I once had a guy copy, verbatim, my Miracleman auction descriptions. I used to spend a LOT of time writing these cool, lengthy descriptions extolling the virtues of whatever book I was selling...

So I ask the guy why...and he wrote back saying 'you write such DAMN good copy, I couldn't resist'...

I didn't make him change it. ;)

report the auction to ebay as it against ebay policy to copy someones auction. Then site back and watch them do nothing.

He's edited the auction to include the serial number.

Looking at his history... it doesn't look like he's ever sold before...
So, I'm betting he does have a 9.4 Harbinger 0 Pink,
but he didn't know how to make/post an image.
(Not very good form to "borrow" someone else's...)

$13.00 for shipping is pretty bad unless he's hiring a taxi to deliver it.

Yeah, sadly, this is fairly common on Ebay. Usually just lazy sellers and not anybody trying to work a scam. A couple years ago I sold a set of the Tortured Souls action figures. I wrote a really good desription, took some good pictures, and did really well on the auction. I liked to look at similar auctions to see what the prices were doing. Sure enough, my images and words were in another auction. I contacted Ebay and they didn't do a thing. So...no harm no foul. Anyway, it was almost a year later, and I wanted to see if the sets of the first series Tortured Souls were still selling for as much as I had gotten. I was checking out auctions, and I found an auction that had exact phrases taken from my auction almost a year earlier...still circulating! These were not common phrases that just happened to be rewritten. I still remember one of the parts that had been copied...."these figures are graphic and disturbing. What more could you want in an action figure?" Still making the Ebay rounds almost a year after I wrote it!

People forgive and forget about you plajarizing the description, that we can forgive or I can at least. What's disturbing is the frikkin $13 shipping. Drop that to $5 and you'd most likely see your bid double maybe triple, just cuz you seem like a magnanamous nice guy.

Make more money and possibly get more people interested in your other auctions too all because you decided to let us pay you the other $8 in our generous bids on your book most likely netting you more money than at $13 shipping *firm.

Meanwhile you laugh all the way to the bank. See how that works. Let us think we're getting some extra "value" and we'll shop with you. Make it obvious there is little "value" associated with your auctions and a few may still bid on your "Hot" books but most others will be ignored.

So my 2 cents, drop the shipping at least in half. Otherwise it may backfire in your face like a vintage episode of Herby the Luv Bug!

But then again with some of the Ebay Maniacs it may still go for $75+, who knows.

hopefully that's a typo, unless he's getting in a box and shipping himself with the book. $80.00 is a bit steep unless he's shipping it to the moon. :P
