Both are really nice looking copies, but that is a huge opening bid for ungraded copies.

Not really... that about the going "list price" for the #2 (or #656, if you prefer) alone, and #1 is worth $300 more than that. That would be a great flip if one had the time and resources to buy this (if one gets it at the opening bid) and get them graded.

Nah, he's just playing mind games. He wants to create a false impression of urgency so people won't wait until the last second (and therefore, maybe save some money) to bid.
