Not really... that about the going "list price" for the #2 (or #656, if you prefer) alone, and #1 is worth $300 more than that. That would be a great flip if one had the time and resources to buy this (if one gets it at the opening bid) and get them graded.tarheelmarine wrote:Both are really nice looking copies, but that is a huge opening bid for ungraded copies.

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

But it's BeatStuff and I promise the books will not show up in the condition they appear to be in those images.slym2none wrote:Not really... that about the going "list price" for the #2 (or #656, if you prefer) alone, and #1 is worth $300 more than that. Then there's this comment,
"Do not wait to snipe ! If you do not bid I will never know about your interest in this lot. People call me every day looking for deals like this and they visit my office weekly. If someone wants to buy it before your bid is heard it would be a shame because I will end it and sell it without even knowing about you. I want to do business with you !"
I'm surprised ebay allows it. Either way, it's unprofessional and leaves the impression of begging for bids.

Nah, he's just playing mind games. He wants to create a false impression of urgency so people won't wait until the last second (and therefore, maybe save some money) to bid.hulk181man wrote:Then there's this comment,

Very true, and he's going about it the wrong way allowing for much perceived negativity and conniving on his part.ZephyrWasHOT!! wrote:Nah, he's just playing mind games. That's Beatstuff for you. They've sent books graded "VF" that were later graded 2.0 by CGC.IMJ wrote:Very true, and he's going about it the wrong way allowing for much perceived negativity and conniving on his part.ZephyrWasHOT!! wrote:Nah, he's just playing mind games.
