Busy time coming up....
As some of you know, here in LA August is the time of year when kids are playing in the backyard, BBQ's are grilling...and producers are making the rounds at the studios with their proposals for new television and movie properties.
We call it 'pitch month.'
It's a frenzy, but hopefully it means we in the entertainment industry will be guaranteed work for another year. This is my 5th annual pitch month, and let me tell you, it's crazy, but it's a lot of fun. Working the 12-16 hour days can pay off BIG if your property gets picked up by one of the big boys.
Right now, we're working a couple of proposals for GloberHyperMegamedia, (yes, I know) a multinational with productions in Asia and Southeast Europe. We're working on a couple of animated features proposals in Armenian, and it's the first such features to be released in that country if they're picked up. We're totally stoked!
Think 'Disney meets the Gypsy Kings'.
I can't wait!
So....if I don't post as much, you know why...it's our version of 'Tax Season', and I could possibly disappear entirely for a couple of weeks. So don't worry, ZWH hasn't suddenly vanished! If you need to contact me, PM me...
