while hitting a 10 cent bin today found a series called STORM QUEST from Caliber Press in 1994. Land did the cover and interior art on # 1; he also did interior art on # 2 and then left (apparently to pursue interests at DC).

His early art's kind of weak... 90's Imagesque...but I swear by #2 you can see his future potential developing in a few panels.

Also picked up a Howard Stern vs. Rush Limbaugh book -- for a dime, why not?

I have liked Greg Land's art for quite a while and now... maybe I am getting used to it but, every broad looks the same. Dynamically smiling, glamor money shot kind of smile. I would just like some 'regular' good looking art from him these days. He is drawing the hell out of Ultimate Fantastic Four and his 'zombies' scare the *SQUEE* out of you but I am sure that Invisible Girl will be getting the snot kicked out of herself and she will have a flawless smile through the whole thing.

I REALLY want to get my Sojourn run completed so that I can see Land's art without so much 'coloring' that is added to his art. It seems like artists can get away with SO MUCH these days or rather SO LITTLE. Many artists fail to even DRAW the nose because the colorist can add it in and make it look better.
