I am thinking about getting questions together and emailing writers/editors/artists from the various Valiant titles. I am looking for input in questions to ask (no guarantee that they will be answered), and who you might want to ask that question. Once I get four or five questions per person, I will email them and ask if they are willing to answer them.

Keep in mind that obscure or minor details may not be accurately remembered - so if you ask Bernard Chang why he drew Dr. Mirage in issue 2, panel 6 with a Yankees cap, he might not have any idea what you are talking about.

If you have a question you want asked, please post it to this thread in the following format:
person to ask, question (you can have more than one person to ask that same question)

For example

Jim Shooter, Bob Layton, Bob Hall - In the first issue of Shadowman, it appears that Shadowman is being bitten by Lydia, the spider alien who was also seen in early XO issues (although if you didn't know this, you might have thought it was a vampire or something). Was the origin of Shadowman's "powers" going to be related to that, or something entirely different? If it was different, how did Shadowman's powers originate? If it was related to the spider aliens, how did they factor into Shadowman's powers. Either way, what was actually supposed to be happening with Jack and Lydia?

Chris

Wasn't the bite meant to be a "buffer" so Jack wouldn't get all his powers?

The powers were in the mask, weren't they?

The one that bothers me the most is in issue 64 or 65 of X-O. It is when the armor seperates its self from Aric and speaks to him on the last page. It then said "...to be continued". But the next issue was something different. I have always wanted to know what was going to happen.

That's the perfect cliffhanger from where to relaunch VALIANT and ignore all of Nicieza's crap.

Just pretend it never happened. (X-O #66, #67 and #68 get dragged into the "ignored" pile because they were writen just to "wrap up" VH 1).

Have you any thoughts as to what might have happened?

I wrote a fan fic story about it once.

Aric and the X-O would have done battle and Aric would have won.

Check it out here(REALLY crappy grammar and even WORSE spelling mistakes, but I think it makes sense, lol).

Let me know what you think of it, k?

A few questions off the top of my head:

For Jim Shooter, definately his intentions for the things he plotted in Rai 0 (he did the plot but the script was done after he left). When he plotted it, what was Geoff going around recruiting heroes for? Where was the panel with the hero's "mourning" Shadowman death set at? And who the heck is that blonde guy in the "Shadowman's dead" panel?

For Bob Hall: What changes did the plans for Shadowman and Master Darque go through as the series progressed?

For Layton, BWS, Hall: Who created Master Darque and what was the story behind his creation?

For BWS: What was up with the ending to the Eternal Warrior story he did? Did Darque travel in time or was it a bizarre typo?

how the heck was master darque in XO 63?

what happened between XO 43 and 44?

why was maxim st james not the shadowman during jacks time, even though he wasnt dead?

how come in turok #0 it says that andar and turok joined mothergod, yet in Turok #1 it says that only turok did. maybe i got that backwards, but its along those lines.
