I think you would have been better off starting with a lower price, get a bidding war happening.Valiant OCD wrote:me too. Oh well. I guess it wasn't the right time. Sure was fun while it lasted.daydreamscomics wrote:wow that really surprised me. i figured someone would come in with at least $400 bid...

I suppose there is something to that line of thinking. I was really just trying to gaurantee I didn't lose money on the transaction. In retrospect, I'd have to honestly say if i knew what the sale price was going to end up being, I would have held onto the book. As it stands, after the fees and all, I just broke even. No use crying over spilled milk. I just hope the new owner enjoys owning it as much as i did.GGSAE wrote:I think you would have been better off starting with a lower price, get a bidding war happening.Valiant OCD wrote:me too. Yeah, well you wouldn't expect a unity red to outshoot a CEAR...was this your extra 9.8 copy?Valiant OCD wrote:I suppose there is something to that line of thinking. 'pence is to pound what cents is to dollar'
to get the record straight 'pence is to pound what cents is to dollar'
so 50p 's about 70 cents in your american dollars. so the red variant is quite rare then?

It sure is. I think 70 cents just might be the new all time record low price.cameron wrote:so 50p 's about 70 cents in your american dollars. so the red variant is quite rare then?

Doh!! For some reason I was thinking that you bought a Unity Red for 10 cents. I guess you're all time record is still intact.
