For a while I had the X-O #5 cover, but have kept my Shakespeare avatar since 4/8/2003. Do I win Avatar Wars?

I've had my avatar almost as long as this woman has had her face.

I posted quite awhile without one, but I've had this one since I started using an avatar. Probably a year or so....

I've had my little baby Doodle Butt (actual name: Freckles) as my avatar for a couple years, occasionally changing it just as a goof. I still remember taking that pic. I was messing around with the digital camera and she came up to see what the heck I was doing. Best dog I ever had!

As a regular maybe. I'm sure there are quite a few one post wonders that registered before you, picked an avatar, and then went rock climbing at night.

I can honestly say, you have had that av as long as I have been here (almost a year.)

I had my Mr. Gone for a LONG time here, then finally decided to go to something with Rai in it, considering, y'know...... but couldn't make up my mind on what to use. Then, Mr. Chen did some sketches for me and BINGO! I have a nice custom av. I might do this to the other two pieces I had done whilst in NYC and rotate 'em every now and then.

And doing this "process" to Rodney's art just took all the life out of it.

I've had the same avatar for 3 years+, with occasional joke changes. Same ol' dogs.

I remember when Shakes changed his to Hard Corps #1...SOTU noted that he liked it at the time. ;)

You know, I have been meaning to ask you about that avatar for a long time. I could never tell if it was a photo or a drawing. I even wondered if it was a panel in a comic book. Its got that "Im going to use my powers now" look to it. I always thought it was a cool pic no matter what the story behind it was. :)

Thanks for clearing that one up! Ive wondered probably over a year at now. :|

My avatar is my tattoo (a twisted, messed up scan of it anyway). And I've had that tattoo for about 10 years.
I would agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.
