Convention gear?
Hey all,
The convention season is already up and running. One problem you might run across while hitting the back issue boxes and stalking creators is what you take along with you to transport the material you buy.
I'll be going to the Bristol Comic Expo in a week and a half and I'm thinking of buying a new bag that can fit my Volstor box, a sturdy black plastic box with flap the size of a small shoebox that I bought several years ago through the Previews, as well as an oversized sketchbook (the size of the new marvel hardovers) and a portable comic values guide which I use to check which issues I do and do not have. So I was wondering, what do you (convention visiting) guys use during cons to keep your newly bought prized possesions save without having to carry around an entire suitcase?
Greetz,
Bo

I was considering doing that as well. They tend to be pretty sturdy. Only problem is that sometimes you cannot take those protective thingies to secure your laptop out of the bag.tcolli wrote:I have a bag that is kind of like a laptop bag with a couple dividers and several pockets for things. It is alot like the convention bag svair released only a little bigger with more pockets.

I bought my mom a laptop for Christmas and got her a kind of "hard-shell" case for it, and if the store I got it from ever gets any more like this in, I'm gonna get one for lugging around comics! It won't collapse, it has an extra padded sleeve (obv. big enough for a laptop) that could protect stuff better, has little pockets and sleeves for pens and whatnot, I'm sold.

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.
