Whats good to read from the dead universes?

Comic universes no longer active, Bravura, Continuity, CrossGen, Future, Malibu, Ultraverse... and others that are 'no longer with us' today (or only recently brought back).

A good natural progression to to read the Defiant and Broadway books. Both were Jim Shooter star vehicles.

And recently the Crossgen stuff had some very good reads.

And all of these are cheaper than a blind midget hooker.

Dark Dominion is pretty good, but Warriors of Plasm is great. The only other series besides those two that ran for more than a few issues was The Good Guys.

Right on Depluto. :thumb: The early Ultraverse stuff was ok. And some of the New Universe stuff was ok to.

Defiant and Broadway are definately good.

I also highly, highly recommend Milestone.

As far as individual titles go, Teknophage from Tekno Comics and Blackhood from Impact also rocked.

Lots of other good stuff out there too. The quarter bins are full of cool stuff waiting to be tried out.

I am about 10 issues away from completing my Tekno Comics DU collection... I can't WAIT to read these. I have thumbed through quite a few of these issues. Nothing superhero about 'em but they seem darn good reads from what I have read so far.... OH and they are in the cheap bins by the dozens.
