Valiant Completists - Signed Books
I figured I should start this thread up since it would be easier to search for lists if they all have the same name. Here's what I've got so far, theres tons more, feel free to add them.
I moved the list to a webpage because it's way to hard too make a list with pictures:
http://st15.startlogic.com/~dineshsh/va ... signed.htm

Add a Turok Yearbook to the list
I have this one from pre-VVSS days.
Turok Yearbook #1 signed by Dave Cockrum with COA from "Clobberin(g) Time". Not numbered, so not sure how many were done.

Signed books
RE: the Turok #1 signed by Bart Sears from Crown Comics.
I live in Springfield, MO, where Crown Comics used to be (he's now in jail somewhere I hear), and I've seen stacks and stacks of these books around here. Any idea how many of them were signed? There's no number on the certificate, but I've seen these signed books being sold over the past year or so from all over the country, and was just curious. I've got a killer Ninjak #1 autographed.

I've got a few X-O # 0s signed by Quesada. One or two have certificates, but they were all Philly local &/or convention signings. They're everywhere in Philly.
Ditto an Armorines 0 gold double-signed with certificate/flyer as part of one of those national tours (Deathmate, maybe?)
None of these is official. I've seen enough of the signed XO 14-15 sets, however, that those should definitely be counted in any self-respecting fan's collection.

Id love to know who the COA was from.I have a XO #0 signed by Joe Quesada with a COA.
I can't remember the source of the COA but I believe the run was 5000 copies. I can't dig it up right now to confirm, maybe someone else has one?
Do you have a pic?I have a Harbinger 0 blue signed by Perlin (I think) with a coa from National Comics LTD
Not a clue how many were signed. Who's sigs are on the ninjak #1? wouldnt happen to be quesada, palmiotti and moretti?RE: the Turok #1 signed by Bart Sears from Crown Comics.

For the list, im interested in whatever you guys think should be on here. Personally, Id love to see anything that was signed that looks cool or has a cool COA.cjv wrote:I am assuming you are interested in limited run signings that were made available, not something that was signed at a local store (which will often give you a COA) or a Con (likewise).
Chris
thanks wrunowDino, I'll try to get a pic of the Harby 0 blue for you tonight.
Lone star comics is mycomicshop.com ive often wondered if they just print COA's for the signed books that come into thier store without one or if they solict signings themselves. Anyone know?I have a Harbinger TPB signed in gold pen by Shooter that I just purchased from Lone Star Comics #385/2000. Came with a COA from Lone Star.

I have the same Archer & Armstrong 0 signed that dino posted above. I also have a bloodshot 6, that looks alot like the ones posted on another thread (i cannot find it at the moment), but is only signed by one person not two. I bought it at a show (Mid-Ohio comic con) many years ago. I'll post a pic if ppl care.

Clarification: I mentioned my Armorines 0 gold that's double-signed. It's from a store-signing, therefore not official & has no certificate of authenticity.
However, I also have the flyer advertising the signing (as part of one of Valiant's nationwide creative "tours") signed by them, & include that with the comic as my own personal COA.
Love to post a pick, but I'm without a digital camera or scanner.
