Just wanted to caution people about bidding on this auction.

This is against Ebay policy because of the shipping date. By the time this item is available you will not be able to dispute through Ebay or Paypal if you pay that way. Also many Credit Card companies require you to dispute charges with in 90 days of the transaction.

same here, I've wanted this HC since I first got into Magnus in '91, and I've been impressed with Dark Horse's Marvel reprints of Conan and Star Wars.

The sellar is SPACE CAT COMICS and I've been to this LCS many times. I still buy new comics here from time to time. Bottom line they are a legit biz. So if you have already ordered from them i wouldn't worry. However, being carefull is not a bad idea.

Have they said which stories they are going to be reprinting in this book yet? All I see in the listing is "This volume reprints the original series with unparalleled art by comics legend Russ Manning".

I've heard it's supposed all of the Manning issues (1-21), but it doesn't specify that in the solicitation so we'll see.

The Dark Horse site says it's 200 pages, so with issues 1-21, that's less than 10 pages per issue. Is that right for these books?

Either way, I'll probably pick one up from this auction unless someone else knows of a place with a similar discount.

Check out the following discussion. Seems we're talking 216 pages reprinting first 7 issues.

Hmm, now I'm not as interested. Even if they did come through with three volumes, that's $150. I guess I'd lean more toward softcovers even on such a nice book as Magnus.
