worst marvel titles ever....name some!

I liked Infinity Gauntlet and as a kid bought those as well as many of the crossover titles. I suffered through War, and only bought the actual mini because I had heard Quasar's role in it was going to be noteworthy (I guess having 10 lines and getting Nullified is noteworthy). I didn't buy any of Crusade.

I liked the Infinity Gauntlet as well. I might have to break down and re-read it sometime soon.

I'll be stuck with that title for quite awhile. Yeah, it's a little disturbing. Nothing against Bob Layton, but the handle is disturbing.

I didn't see anyone list Identity Disc, Marvels attempt to hijack sales from DC by naming their book very similarly named Identity Crisis (which rocks). I guess i was the only one unfortunate enough to suffer 2 issues of this... yech

Nicieza's Nomad was pretty bad.

War Machine (MAX imprint) sucked.

This thread should be 50+ pages by now. Marvel has put out gobs of junk. Most of the stuff they put out during the glut of 92-93 was horrific.

NFL SuperPro was bad...just a quick question though...I had heard that # 6 was recalled due to Indian people being offended...anyone hear about this...and how could I find out the print run....it's the only one I need to complete my set

As far as Marvel Print runs, good luck finding those out. There are certain books you just know had low runs, or when the printing was down, but I think those numbers are Confidential Company info and they don't release them.

I can think of dozens of issues I'd like to know the print runs on....

I dunno about the concept, but I LOVE that Champions cover!!! Although... Angel looks like he's about to pounce on Ghost Rider, who appears to be riding the gay-est looking motorcycle EVER!

Still, it is gorgeous Kirby artwork.....

Hey, even the best artists can make mistakes. Kirby art = good, Champions concept = bad.

Wow! I've never heard of the Champions title before.

That team up is as lame as the Defenders!

I agree, good cover art.

Maybe Champions would have been a success if it didn't have such a lame title name.

They could have used more catchier and better names like: The Crusaders of Freedom, The Super Hero Soldiers, The Spankers, The Super-Dooper Team, The Man Muscles and so on.
