I'M SURE YOU READ THESE BOARDS AS I BELIEVE I RECOGNIZE YOU FROM THE BIG APPLE SHOWS AND WE'VE DISCUSSED VALIANT BEFORE..

IF I EVER SEE YOU AT THE BIG APPLE, HAWTHORNE OR NEW YORK COMICCON, I WILL HOUND YOU TO THROW THE FIRST PUNCH!

MINE WILL BE THE SECOND AND THIRD PUNCH. THATS ALL I NEED!

YOU WERE LUCKY THE COPS AND THE GUARDS WERE THERE LAST NIGHT TO PUT AN END TO IT .

I DID NOT PURPOSELY KEEP THE LITHO'S ASIDE FOR ANYONE!!!...IF YOUR WILLING TO FIGHT SOMEONE FOR A DRAWING WORTH $20.00, YOU REALLY ARE A SAD PIECE OF CRAP.

BUT IF YOUR STILL BELIEVEING THIS , I'M HERE AND YOU'LL KNOW WHERE TO FIND ME COME THE NEXT FEW SHOWS!..

I am guessing that someone was talking poop about how elitist VF.comers are and how we exclude people who are our friends...or atleast something to that effect...oh and I would also assume that Mr. Loudmouth didnt get a litho...

Yeah, we're so eliteist here.

Someone make a cheap photocopy, wipe their butt with it and send it to this whiner. Sign it "Love, the Valiant Mafia."

 Maybe sign it before you wipe . . .

shhhhh . . . don't anyone let on that only us guys in the white tower got litho's along with the drunken phone messages. :thumb:

Guess we need to start calling the non VF'ers "Muggles" or sumptin.

How 'bout Fuggles?

This "person" needs a serious beat-down, Valiant Mafia style! Hobo goes last, because if he hits this "person" with the Bat first, there won't be anything left for the rest of us to tear apart.

Hey! Why do I get sloppy seconds?

Actually, I'll hold the video camera and use the bat if he tries to escape.

well of course it will need video...and maybe we mic everyone and then edit it all back together later on...

sort of like the old NFL films of football games where one of the players re mic'd...

It happenned at Penn Station just before getting on the railroad to go home..

I called the promoters to see if they had a problem with one of the regular attendees at the show, regarding the x-o litho.

I'm waiting to hear back..

John,

I am sorry to hear that something like that happened to you, it was truly classless of someone to confront you like that.

From an objective standpoint, and, this comment has nothing to do with the unhappy fan, but not having the lithos was a real problem, and really was a public relations nightmare for John. The lithos were advertised online and in the promoters print ads for the show and there were quite a few disappointed fans, and none of this was John's fault in any way. He handled the situation very professionally I thought, but there really wasn't anyway to get anything positive out of this "bad" situation, all John could do was "damage control".

I think you guys who weren't at the show really cannot comprehend how well planned and organized John was down to just about every last detail of the production of this event for the show. I was greatly impressed at the effort and attention to detail that was made for this show, it would be inappropriate to judge the VALIANT portion of the show on the lack of the litho that was not anybody's fault, at least not John's.
I am selling "nothing" on ebay-yet.

Ditto.

It's a shame that what sounds like a great time had by all has to be tarnished by some cretin running his mouth.

John,

Can you clear up exactly what happened to the lithos and the Nexus books? I was at the show and I'd heard they were delayed but I never bothered to get any details. Are they officially lost or still late? I SAW how hard you worked on the entire event, and some unknown lurker making accusations is obviously ludicrous. I know KC was waiting on some stuff also. Was a courier late or was some luggage lost or what? Thanks for any insight.

I couldn't have said it any better. John did an incredible job with everything. It sucks about the lithos but it didn't take anything away from what was a great time.

Hey Sean...
Glad to know you got home safe..the x-o litho's and the magnus/nexus books were both in one of our fellow attendee's bag...it seems the bag was unfortunately misloaded by the airline and went in the opposite direction. No word as of yet if they had been found.
I actually found out today the litho's say New York Show. So it seems as they won't be going to the san diego show for sale as I thought. we'll see what happens.
As for the magnus/nexus books they are, as of now, in limbo. I hope to hear something soon as I really want to start getting the unity's into peoples hands. It seems everyone wants both for the package deal..

In hind site we could have taken 100 names for the litho and told them the price was $15 or something and just ship it to them later. Just add the price of shipping to the litho cost since the price was never confirmed beforehand. Oh well, hind site is 20/20. :!:
I do chicken right!
