Looking For A "Convention Partner" For NY Con

For lack of a better term, I'm looking for a "Convention Partner" who will try to pick-up whatever Valiant related or free Con goodies for me that are available, and even maybe a sketch or two by former Valiant artists who are there at the Con.

I originally called it "Con Buddie", which makes me think of a prison cellmate, so hence the title change.

I would be willing to pay a fee or whatever the cost for sketches etc. I would certainly make it worth your time and effort. Please PM me if you don't feel comfortable responding to this in the open forum.

Hopfully, later this year I might be able to attend future get-togethers, and be a "Convention Partner" for someone else.

I like the idea of putting together a Mid-West get-together at a Con, but it's hard to decide which city and Con would be the best for the most attendance among us board members. For example, I could make a limited amount of copies of the Valiant Continuity Bible, get them autographed and remarked by Bob Layton, Don Perlin, and others. Then I will pass them out for free as a Convention goodie. Just an idea...---Steve

Someone who wishes to remain anonynous has agreed to pick up some Con stuff for me. Hopefully someone else will read this and offer to get some stuff for you also.

I could certainly try to reciprocate for any cons I go to here in Australia, though our comic cons are nowhere near as interesting as in the US.

The upcoming comic con here in Australia is Supanova but no Valiant related guests though.
