Broadway - What if?
Sorry if this has been discussed before, but I've been doing some looking around after reading some of the Broadway books (an interesting idea that got killed way too early).
I know a while back we'd talked about which of Shooter's other universes would fit well into the Valiant universe. I was curious as to what had happened to the Broadway trademarks, so I did a little digging.
As everybody knows, Broadway was bought out by Golden Books, which then promptly closed. Golden was then purchased by two companies: Random House...
...and Classic Media, which also owns the Magnus, Solar, and Turok properties.
My question is this - with Valiant under new ownership, and with the owners presumably wanting the three characters above back in the Valiant universe (I say presumably, because that's what I'd want), could the new owners look at possibly folding the Broadway universe into Valiant? And, to take it a step further, should they?
I'm curious to see you guys' opinions.

It might be better to ask how much they would sell the properties for. There is no demand for them currently, so they could be had cheap, maybe. The new owners ought to see how much they'd sell Magnus, Solar, & Turok for, as well. If the properties are merely licensed, there could be trouble down the road when the license expires. I think they own the Defiant properties as well. What a combination of universe's THAT would be!---Steve

Agreed. There are plenty of stories yet to be told with the Valiant characters. All those other universes are better left on their own IMO.
