I really like Timewalker as a character but feel so much more could have been done. I really hope the new owners decide to do something great with this character.
the entire series makes for pretty good reading. there is one issue in particular that stands out (i don't know which one it is though!) i think it had a guest writer, and that it was some novelist. they caught the essence of what COULD have made the title really work. the harbinger wars issues were dissappointing in point of view...
I like the Timewalker character, but the series did not sit well with me overall and I thought they could have done a much better job with it than they did.
do you remember one issue where the people were bowing down to worship ivar, because they had become convinced that he was a god, but one follower was worshipping "spearmint"? that was the good one that i liked.

Yeah, the gum thing was kind of a running gag in a lot of the issues.

10+11 told a tale of Ivar in a sieged historical town (Dura Europus).
15 is a futuristic murder mystery.
Those were by Debra Doyle & James MacDonald. My kids like their Mageworld series.
14 is also by a novelist, don't remember the story though (something in Vienna).
